Directions - From the Ramsbottom office head straight through the traffic lights and head up Carr Street, bear left into Tanners Street and climb the hill bearing right into Rawsons Rake, at the top turn sharp right onto Helmshore Road, follow the road for about a mile and as you pass Italian Restaurant on the left turn left into Alden Road head straight up and after about a quarter of a mile as you pass the cottages on your left the woodland is in front of you on the right hand side behind steel gates.
