Full description

Whichever is the way you make your journey to this charming cottage you'll be sure to appreciate the stunning countryside en-route as well as the setting. Pull up and take advantage of the off road parking. A rarity for a home of this age.

There is only one place to start. The stunning kitchen area. Re-fitted by the current owners three years ago it has plenty of unit space as well as cupboards plus all the integrated appliances one would expect. Just imagine cooking up a storm…. It opens in to the dining area, which with a glass roof makes it the perfect place to entertain in. This will clearly be the hub of the home. Under floor heating in both the kitchen & dining areas is a great bonus. As the open fire in the lounge roars you may struggle to keep eyelids open post 9pm. The top floor is devoted to the larger of the two bedrooms and with the view from the rear window, has to be seen. Plenty of eaves storage quashes any thoughts about lack of loft space.

With approx 100ft of rear garden to utilise there's plenty to enjoy. It's not just a courtyard with a barbecue. An outside utility area with light and power is great and doubles up as a store room.

A quick glance at the most recent OFSTED report on either the local or Chiddingstone school speaks volumes for the quality available close by.

The train station with links to London (and with FREE parking) is less than a mile away as are 2 local pubs. This is village living.

What the Owner says:

It was the setting and the garden that attracted us to this home. It had charm and character. We were hooked!
As commuters, we needed to be within a mile of a train station with links to London and struck gold here.
Since moving in we have refitted the kitchen area, added the dining area, added a porch and decorated throughout.
The neighbours are great here, there's a real community feel.
We'll miss the country walks, the pubs, Tunbridge Wells and how peaceful it is here. We've built up some great friendships here.
