Full description

Tenure: Leasehold

Pull into the crunchy gravel car park, and step into your own piece of Kent countryside, with this wonderful cottage-like ground floor apartment. Surrounded by far-reaching views and farm land, this little gem of a home is a perfect “home away from home” holiday cottage, or as a primary residence for high pressured city workers needing a much needed escape to a quieter life.

With 5 other properties on the site, and a walk through the nearby orchard to the local pub and village green in Egerton, you’ll never feel totally isolated.

The large timber barn houses your cosy apartment, with double bedroom, large shower room, and open plan kitchen/lounge area.

The exposed beams throughout give the apartment an air of charm, yet the soft modern decor makes it feel chic and stylish – it really is a home to be proud of.

Outside you have the benefit of a communal garden, beautifully maintained by the onsite gardener, giving you the luxury of greenery without being responsible yourself if you are too busy to do so.

You also have use of two outbuildings for storage.

This truly is a home that must be viewed to be appreciated, so call immediately to avoid missing out.

What the Owner says:

I’ve always loved quirky and unusual properties, and I always said I would buy a home with a soul, so when this caught my eye, I knew it was meant to be. Not only does it look fabulous, and gets lots of compliments when I have guests visit, but it’s super practical too – my bills are low, someone else looks after the garden, and I can even work from home when needed!
I’m sad to be leaving, however my priorities have changed so I’m looking for something equally as enchanting – I know I have a hard task on my hands! I’ve made a few improvements in the cottage too, so hopefully the new owner will make the most of them.
