Description

Planning permission (application no. FUL/MAL/13/00286) was granted on 12 June 2013 to replace the existing chalet bungalow for "Replacement dwelling with proposed new drive and triple garage". Resubmission of the application was approved on 18th May 2016 (application no. FUL/MAL/16/00262). The plans of this house (outlined in blue on the plan) show five bedrooms (three en suite), family bathroom, lounge, study, dining room, kitchen/breakfast/family room, utility room, cloakroom and reception hall, of approx 515 sq m (5,543 sq ft - gross internal).

A second planning permission (application no. FUL/AL/15/00070) was also granted on Appeal on 3 December 2015 (Appeal ref: APP/X1545/W/15/3028033 [Appeal B]). The original planning application was for the "Demolition of existing dwelling and the erection of 2 no. 5 bedroom dwellings with double garages and access" which was refused. However, the planning application was revised to one dwelling with the requirement for the demolition of the existing dwelling remaining. The plans of this house (outlined in red on the plan) of approx 492 sq m (5,295 sq ft - gross internal), are similar to that of the other plot.

The site, which is partly overgrown, is about 3.4 acres and adjoins open countryside.
