Withdrawn from Market
- Recently established market garden
- Approximately 2 acres of soft fruits, apple and pear trees
- Lying in a sheltered valley on the edge of the village
- Single enclosure with direct access onto the A38
- Potential to expand stock levels
The market garden has been recently established since 2008 and is well stocked with young plants and trees which have been set out in different areas, some of which are separately enclosed and fenced. Currently there are Cider Apple trees, cooking Apple trees and Pear trees, Loganberry, Tayberries, Raspberries, commercial Blackberries, Black Currants, some Cob Nut trees, Black Walnut trees and Christmas trees.
There is still some areas of the land that can be planted out giving potential to expand the stock levels. The grounds could lend themselves for further expansion on the poultry front and also for beehives to pollinate the plants. The valley is naturally sheltered and a sun trap having a fresh water stream running through to supply the plot. The land extends in all to approximately 2 acres and is in a sheltered valley just off the A38. It is gently sloping dissected by a fresh water stream. Backing onto open countryside it is fully enclosed.
The land is situated alongside the A38 going down the hill towards Notterbridge and Saltash on the left hand side. The village of Landrake has a shop, public house, junior school and church plus an active social scene based on the village hall, ‘Geoffrey’s Hall’. Saltash is the main town for the area providing a range of independent and national shops, senior school and a mainline railway station.
