Full description

Kilbride Farm is a rarely available property set in a stunning location in the beautiful Argyll countryside. Off the beaten track and split over 4 levels, the renovated farmhouse is set in 8 acres of land and consists of 5 bedrooms, 3 reception rooms, including a dining kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a cloakroom, several outhouses / workshops and private gardens. The nearby, but relatively unknown, Kilbride Bay (locally known as Ostel Bay) is considered to be one of the best sandy beaches in the area. Kilbride Farm would make an ideal family or holiday home as well as a very profitable holiday let, in a truly idyllic part of the world.

Kilbride farm is approximately one mile from Millhouse, a small village situated between Kames and Portavadie, near the larger village of Tighnabruaich, which is approximately 25 miles from Dunoon, Cowal’s main town. Ideally positioned for the magnificent Portavadie Marina, the ferry to Tarbert and the sailing waters that surround this beautiful part of the world, known as ‘Argyll’s Secret Coast’. The wider area boasts many independent retailers, post offices, a bank, hotels, cafes, restaurants, a golf course, tennis court, children’s play area and sailing clubs.

The property can be accessed through the main door at the front, through the outhouses at the side into the kitchen, the double doors directly into the kitchen or via the patio doors into one of the bedrooms in the attached cottage.
At the front, a pathway leads to the black storm doors and into a small vestibule. A further glass / wooden door opens to the entrance hallway.
