Tenure: Freehold

This property really is one of those 'little gems' that you don’t often find and although it would make the ideal first home it may also appeal to a second time buyer or anyone looking to invest or downsize.

As you drive into Jay Close you immediately start to relax as this really is the ideal quiet cul-de-sac. There is off road parking with plenty of space on the road for when guests arrive. The entrance porch allows space to remove coats and shoes. The lounge is dual aspect and you will notice straight away how much light streams through which accentuates the space. You will imagine nights curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine and a movie. The kitchen is well equipped and you will enjoy preparing an evening meal in here and the washing up won't be much of a chore as you will be looking out onto your lovely rear garden. You may want to look at extending or adding a conservatory which would not eat into the garden too much.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms with the master benefiting from built in wardrobes. The modern family bathroom will be the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a de-stressing soak.

Once you walk out to the rear garden you will be amazed as it is much bigger than you would normally expect for this type of home making it ideal for children to play. It is fence and hedge enclosed offering a good degree of privacy.

What the Owner says:

We were first time buyers and looking for our first home together. We were looking in a large area and did not really know where we wanted to focus on and whilst looking at properties in Horsham we stumbled across Southwater. We fell in love with the village and the way of life and also loved the idea of being so close to Horsham. When we came to see this property we instantly liked how quiet the cul-de-sac felt and when we went inside we could not believe how bright and airy it was.

We have really enjoyed the last five years and will be sad to leave but won't be moving out of Southwater.
