Having taken early retirement over twenty years ago I looked for premises to open a restoration workshop. I came across this former coal yard which was perfect. Over recent years I have bought the double garage to add to the plot which was rumoured to have been owned by the Duke of Norfolk who used them to park his car in securely when travelling on the train. Just over 10 years ago I extended the building doubling the accommodation.I have looked into changing the use into residential over the years but didn't want to carry out the minor changes that they required.Having now retired I have decided to be beside the seaside!
