Directions
Travelling from our Grange office, continue down the Main Street to the mini roundabout taking the first exit into Windermere Road. Continue along Windermere Road taking the left turning through lime stone gate posts where it is signposted Nutwood. Continue up the long winding driveway until you reach Nutwood Manor. The access into this woodland can be found through a small access on the left hand side, where you will see a timber garden shed.

An alternative access can be found off Hampfell Road, as follows:-

Drive up the Main Street to the mini roundabout taking the second exit into the continuation of Main Street. At the crossroads, take the right turn into Pig Lane, then first left into Hampfell Road. Continue until you see the Hampsfield House Hotel. You will see a small layby on the right hand side and a small gateway, this is the access into the woodland from Hampfell Road.

Grange-over-Sands is an Edwardian coastal town situated along the shores of Morecambe Bay and offers a good range of shops and services, including the railway station, ornamental gardens and duck pond and the mile long promenade.
