Why you’ll like it:
You approach the building up a wide path and through secure double doors to a neat entrance lobby, where your sage green door is clearly marked on the left. You enter into a small carpeted corridor and are drawn to the front of the flat by the light pouring in through the large, south facing picture window into the sizable living room. The property has been vacant for a short while, and this is evident in the somewhat dated decor, but that is mere aesthetics, and it is clear that this could be a beautifully bright and welcoming space. It currently has a wall mounted electric fire which could again, easily be replaced for a contemporary model, and there is ample space in here for comfortable seating as well as a dining area.
The kitchen is next door, and this was replaced within the last year. The units are in white and form a U shape. The work surfaces are a light wood effect, and below these on the right are an integrated fridge and freezer. The gas cooker is freestanding and the gas combination boiler is cleverly concealed in one of the wall units.
Next door is the shower room, which was also replaced more recently, and this has a very spacious walk in shower with sliding glass doors, a modern white WC and hand basin, and the walls have been tiled in white with a simple patterned trim in natural tones. Although there is no bathtub, there would be enough space, but the whole design would need to be reconfigured.
The bedroom is peacefully located at the rear of the flat, past a very deep storage cupboard which could also house the washing machine as the plumbing is in place there. This roomy double almost mirrors the living room, and again would need a little TLC to revive it. It has a double built in wardrobe, but there is plenty of space in here for a king size bed as well as other pieces of bedroom furniture.
This is a fantastic flat in an excellent location, and although it doesn’t have any outside space of its own, St Anne’s Well Gardens are just 1 minute away on foot should you want to stretch your legs.
