Jordan Barn is located within the peaceful hidden Dartmoor hamlet of Jordan some two miles south west of the village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor.

The immediate area provides spectacular walking and riding on the nearby open moor and the picturesque valley of the West Webburn river.

Widecombe village has a traditional green, fine towered church, primary school, two public houses and a number of cafes/tea rooms.

The town of Ashburton (about 6 miles) offers an excellent range of everyday shops and amenities including banks, post office, delicatessen, mini supermarket, cafes, restaurants and senior school and college. It is also where the A38 Expressway can be joined for quick access to the two Devon cities of Exeter and Plymouth.
