Tenure: Freehold

Wow, this bungalow is a real gem set in the heart of one the Islands most picturesque villages – Brighstone, just outside of the main town centre of Newport - the Islands capital. Also located just a short drive away from the wonderful south coast of the Island where you can experience some of the most spectacular views on the south coast and across the English Channel.

The village has a thriving community and everything you need from local shops, doctors, a village school and a post office in the local store too. There are an abundance of country and coastal walks on your doorstep and a wonderful friendly atmosphere all through the village with a good old English pub to enjoy with your friends and family on those Sunday afternoons. There is also a good bus route taking you in to the centre of Newport where you can link up to all corners of the Island if you fancy leaving the car at home.

The bungalow itself is beautiful and the spacious lounge is flooded with sunlight most of the day. The bright airy kitchen with adjoining separate dining room is perfect for today’s modern living and the ideal space for entertaining family and friends when they visit.

The lovely sunny rear garden is a spot easy to imagine yourself pottering about in during the summer months, and also provides direct access to your garage, so when returning home from shopping you have no problem bringing in all those heavy bags.

What the Owner says:

It was over 30 years ago we saw these few bungalows being built and as we previously lived in Shorwell, we knew we had to have one of them. We put our money down and moved in as the first owners and have stayed here until today. It has been a wonderful place to live and if it were not for me now wanting to be closer to my family, I would never even contemplate moving from here.
My neighbours are fabulous and the village is perfect and has everything I need. On Mondays, Natwest even have a mobile bank that comes to our village. During the winter I can watch families sledging on the hills beyond and in the summer we get hang gliders in the distance benefiting from the hot thermals and soaring across the skies beyond.
