Tenure: Leasehold

If you have been looking for a home that has a quirky element to it then you will be pleased to know that this spacious apartment has a few surprises in store. This home would appeal to anyone looking to get their first step on the ladder but may also suit an investor or someone who may be looking to downsize. It could not be more conveniently placed as it is in the village centre so you won't have to go far for supplies or a takeaway.

There is plenty of communal parking and the communal gardens are nicely enclosed so you can look forward to a BBQ in the summer months. Unlike other apartments in the block this one has its own entrance. The entrance hall is generous and has a huge built in storage cupboard which you could use as a little study room. The spacious lounge has more than enough room for a large suite and opens through to a useful dining area. This room is adjacent to the stylish modern kitchen where you will look forward to preparing some culinary delights when you have guests round. The bedroom is an irregular shape but is a very good size and has lots of space for wardrobes and cabinets. The bathroom is right next door making the overall layout of this maisonette perfect.

Outside the garage is a great place for a car or storage but when you get inside you will notice an opening into another room which is quite unusual and presents an opportunity for other use, the choice is yours!

What the Owner says:

I was living in Horsham with my parents and looking for my first step onto the property ladder. After looking in Horsham I was somewhat disappointed as all of the flats and apartments I viewed were very small and did not offer much in the way of parking or gardens so I decided to venture into Southwater to see what the village was like. I was so glad I did as I really liked the feel of the village and decided to focus my search here. I came to view this one and was very surprised. What I initially liked was having your own front door and not a communal entrance. The communal gardens were nicely enclosed and felt very private. Once inside I could not believe the feeling of space so I wasted no time and walked to the office and made an offer straight away.

I have been very happy here but we are moving out of the area and will be sad to leave.
