Full description

Take a look at this wonderful bungalow with fantastic bay views from the front of the home. The owner has presented this home beautifully and we strongly recommend viewing to fully appreciate this home and location.

About The Location - Bolton le Sands is a popular village just North of the city of Lancaster and is close to Morecambe Bay for fantastic sun sets and seaside walks. This village has been around for many years and is referred to as Bodeltone in the Domesday book. The village was known as Bolton until the arrival of the railways, when the name was changed to Bolton-le-Sands. The oldest church in the village, Church of England Holy Trinity was originally dedicated to St Michael and it is believed that the oldest part of the church dates back to around 1500. The canal is also not far away with pleasing countryside walks available through to neighbouring Hest Bank or Lancaster.

"What We Love..." - We simply love how this home has been so well looked after by the current owner. The home has been tastefully decorated throughout in a neutral colour scheme and the gardens are both well maintained. However the best bit has to be the wonderful views which you really do have to see for yourselves.

Property Overview - Briefly the home comprises of a great size lounge, spacious kitchen with a separate dining room, family bathroom, three double bedrooms, and a study/hobby room!
Externally you will find a large detached garage with off street parking for several vehicles, a low maintenance front garden and a beautifully maintained, private rear garden.

The Living Space - Open the door to the home and take a look around. The great size entrance hall offers space to remove shoes and coats before entering the main hallway.
Neutral dcor is on show and throughout the home, helping the space to feel bright and spacious.

The main living room is a great size and has a real bright and airy feel thanks to the large double glazed window to the front elevation and offers lovely views over Morecambe Bay. To the centre of the room there is a coal effect gas fire which is a lovely main focal point and helps to make the space feel cosy.

The dining area is a fantastic space where you can enjoy your evening meals and there is an open arch which leads through to the kitchen, perfect for entertaining.

The kitchen has been fitted with a great range of storage and there is ample work space for those who love to cook. You will see there is an integrated gas hob and a built in electric oven along with space for all the expected white goods we all require.

From the kitchen there is a double glazed door which opens up to the rear porch where you can access the rear garden or sit and enjoy the morning sunshine

Bedrooms And Bathroom - The three bedrooms are all double rooms and of a great size. To the ground floor there are two bedrooms with the third being up on the first floor.

The master bedroom is a generous sized double room and has a lovely aspect overlooking the private rear garden, with the second bedroom also being a great size and offering views towards Morecambe Bay and the lakes beyond.

The third bedroom is just upstairs and here you will discover another generous sized room which has the best view of all. Its elevated position provides wonderful views over the Bay so you can enjoy those beautiful sunsets.

Also on the first floor you will find a useful study/hobby room which offers a variety of uses.

The family bathroom is located on the ground floor and offers a three piece suite in white, with fully tiled walls and a shower over the bath providing the best of both worlds.

Outside Space - To the front of the home you will see there is a great sized driveway providing off street parking for several vehicles which leads to the detached garage.

The front garden is a low maintenance area and there is also an outside tap to the side of the home. Once you are round to the rear of the home you will find a very well maintained garden with a lovely lawned area which has mature planted borders for extra colour. The rear garden is really private so you can enjoy sitting out and relaxing during those summer months.
