At the rear of the house is a garden which in turn backs on to woodland. The garden is enclosed by a timber paling fence. The garden itself has not been landscaped or fashioned into any formal arrangement and consequently an incoming purchaser would have the garden to attend to. That said it is a great space affording excellent possibilities. At the front of the house there is ramp access to the front door and a gravelled space to park a car.

The cottage from its living room window enjoys a reasonable outlook across to the far side of the glen.
