We moved here in 1999 and it has been a lovely family home. The house is very light and bright and has a secluded, private garden that has given us and our children a lot of pleasure.

Suffield Road must be one of the quietest streets in London, with no through traffic and very little noise yet with train and tram stations within a five minute walk, giving access to London mainline stations and the centre of Croydon. We often hear nothing but birdsong, from both the street and garden. We are a two minute walk from Stewart Fleming School but, with the entrance in the next street, we don't suffer from the traffic and noise associated with the school run. It has always felt like the closest one can get to a country cottage in a London street.
