Situation - Fountain House 18 Church lane sits prominently at the heart of Moorhaven Village, which is quickly becoming highly desirable to professional commuters to the cities of Exeter, Plymouth and the countryside beyond. Moorhaven was originally constructed as a hospital in the late 1800s.
The Moorhaven village that we know today was converted to residential dwellings during the late 1990s and is set in approximately 65 acres of landscaped grounds in an elevated position. It can be found in the unspoilt hills of Dartmoor National Park, on the northern fringe of the rolling South Hams countryside, with spectacular views to the sea, which is approximately 7 miles to the south.
The village is rural yet accessible and conveniently located for the A38 Devon Expressway, allowing easy access to the cathedral city of Exeter, approximately 30 miles to the east, and to the maritime port of Plymouth, approximately 14 miles to the west. Within the village are communal grounds and a sports field, including football and cricket pitch, 2 tennis courts, a boules pitch and a croquet lawn. For those of an active nature, Wrangaton Golf Course is a short walk from the village and there is direct access to Dartmoor for walking and riding.

Description - Fountain House sits within the select development of Moorhaven occupying the prime location, formerly the old dance hall and cinema with maple wooden sprung flooring, picture window with views across surrounding manicured gardens and in the distance across the South Hams countryside and the Channel beyond. This is an extremely spacious family home and exudes the feeling of opulence with room sizes and high ceilings affording much light.

Accommodation - (Please see floorplan). Front double doors to entrance lobby with stairs rising to first floor. Cloakroom and ground floor WC. Door to grand reception room with fireplace with inset gas fire with two freestanding wooden bookcases either side. Additional storage space underneath the dining area. Sprung maple flooring with spectacular picture window overlooking the manicured parkland grounds and over private gardens.
Double glass fronted doors leading to the kitchen with good selection of wall and base storage cupboards. Open shelving. Space for washing machine and dishwasher. Large Range with 4-ring gas burner. Double doors lead out to an undercover gravelled area and water feature.
Stairs to raised dining area, again with spectacular views. Further stairs up to mezzanine level which makes an excellent space for a home office with balustrade overlooking the reception area. Ornate plasterwork border and coving.
First floor with spacious landing and ample natural light. Door to bedroom 4. Bedroom 3 with built in wardrobe cupboards overlooking the fountain. Family bathroom with shower over bath, built in laundry cupboards. Door to separate WC.
