The site is zoned within the Perth & Kinross Draft Local Plan as "Employment Use".

The airfield is now occupied as a small industrial estate with a variety of occupiers.


The subjects are located on a former disused runway located within Errol Airfield to the west of the main Airfield entrance.

Errol Airfield is located half a mile to the west of Errol village which is a commuter village of approximately 1,200 persons. Errol is located equidistant between Perth and Dundee. The village is a commuter area where there has been considerable numbers of new homes built over the past few years.
