‘We bought the flat whilst it was being built and have lived here ever since. Having seen the flat transform from an empty shell into the home we have now has been very special and we have really enjoyed living here. The location is ideal, with town and Cribbs Causeway both close by, as well as two good pubs within walking distance and everything Gloucester Road has to offer just a stone’s throw away. We have also loved living next door to Horfield Leisure Centre, which has meant no excuses when it comes to going to the gym! The flat is also close by to some off-road cycle paths, enabling us to cycle into Bath safely at weekends – it is very handy having the secure bike storage on site. We love the development so much that we are hoping to move into a house just a few hundred metres away, which was made by the same builder as the flat. Downsides are no garden and only one bedroom, but there is a communal area at the back where we have been able to sit outside in summer and we have found the flat very spacious for a one-bed, plenty of room for two of us.’
