Why you’ll like it:
Although very central, this flat feels quiet and peaceful as it is raised up in the first floor of a large Victorian house, and is set to the rear, away from the main road. You approach the property on its left side where a door leads you up a flight of stairs to a landing shared by two others. Your door opens to an entrance hall where there is space to store your shoes, and hooks for coats and bags to keep the flat clutter free.
A doorway on the left takes you through to the living room which is a comfortable size for two sofas and a small dining table and chairs. It is wonderfully light as the tall window is south facing, and the the buttermilk walls, light laminate floors and high ceilings also lift the room. The kitchenette is through a wide archway to the right, and it feels quite separate and not in any way imposing on the room. The units are along the back wall, and are white in a Shaker style. These are topped with a dark granite effect top for contrast, and the splashbacks are on trend in white brick tiles. Another door takes you to a short corridor where you can access the bedroom and the bathroom past an ample storage cupboard.
