They say don’t judge a book by its cover! Look beyond the Victorian facade of this detached house and you will be amazed at the amount of space available both internally and externally. This family home sits on a large plot which makes it ideal for those enthusiastic gardeners to tend and admire. Equally suitable for those with young children; you will find plenty of space for them to run around and explore. The main house itself boasts three separate reception rooms, a lounge where you can enjoy your favourite TV programmes, a dining room for formal entertaining when family and friends come over plus a breakfast room where you can relax and enjoy your dinner after a hard day at work.

The current owners have carried out many improvements to the property which features a modern kitchen, downstairs cloakroom and the useful cellar has been converted into what is now a games room. This could easily be used as a gym, home office or a den for the children. On the first floor you will find 4 bedrooms plus a family bathroom and a loft room on the second floor with adjacent shower room. Outside amongst the colourful and somewhat tropical styled gardens you will find a former stable-block/coach-house that was extended and converted to provide a self-contained 1 bedroom annex for the owner’s mother. This would be ideal for those who have older parents who you may want to look after, but still provide them with their independence as it is completely self-contained.

What the Owner says:

When this house came on the market it seemed too good to be true for us. We were looking for a substantial family home with good sized gardens and the old stable-block/coach-house offered potential to create a self-contained home for Mum as we were looking to find somewhere where she could move in with us. There is nothing better than sitting in the established gardens and admiring the view of the colour from the various trees and shrubs. It is easy to think that you are situated in the middle of the countryside; yet you are only five minutes away from Faversham town centre. Now that our family have all grown up the garden is an ideal place for the grand-children to explore and enjoy and it still gives us great pleasure.
