The two large reception rooms to the front of the property could be great for larger families to peacefully pursue their separate interests. The dining room with wood burning stove in the recessed inglenook fireplace is a fabulous place for entertaining and the way that it opens out into the conservatory, then onto the garden, makes it perfect for larger gatherings. The secret staircase is a delightful addition to this special room and adds to its magic! In small village with a pub, right next to the A1, it is perfectly located for commuting to Newark. Owner's opinions...
It's been an absolute pleasure living in this large family home, had 40 people for Christmas, 16 cars parked in drive, people milling about between the 6 down stairs rooms meant no over crowding, the spacious kitchen meant handling the cooking for such a large number was easy on the large range cooker.
Summers with children packed in the garden, and even when I have no visitors this comfortable house in a village of only 6 houses is still friendly with a great pub restaurant just a two minute walk away if I want company or a lovely meal -it adds to the pleasure of living here.
