We purchased our property 12 years ago and fell in love with our little Gem by the sea as the location is perfect for our lifestyle: work was in the southwest but also our beautiful wooden ketch boat was moored at Salcombe so the apartment was a perfect match. Stokeley Manor is nestled in a little valley within 2 acres mainly lawn but bordered by woodland with fantastic view over Slapton ley and a panoramic view of the sea. The property has a private Drive, ample parking, and a Swimming pool with Sun house. On walking into the Manor you are welcomed by a Stylish hallway with Tiled charcoal and white floor and plants a bright sunny aspect The flat is on the far side of the house so also has a very quiet location and we decided to renovate in 2010 to an exceptionally high standard our aim to ooze quality and style and take advantage of the space.
We have loved the south hams and all the wonderful days we have spent Sailing ,walking in woodland , fields, coastal trails, beach & Slapton Ley with our Springer Spaniel visiting local Pubs, and days visiting towns and countryside too many to mention and sitting just looking at the sea view and breath-taking sunrises /sunsets, and wonderful magical moonlit nights shimmering over the sea.............................
