Tenure: Leasehold

The Leadworks has been built in an area of great importance for the City, the historic Shot Tower which dominates the skyline has been standing for over 200 years, built as a result of the economic progress of the City following the construction of the Shopshire Union canal ‘Shroppie’. The site around the Shot Tower has received planning permission for a small/medium size intimate residential and leisure development which will bring a further enhancement to an extremely vibrant part of town.
The current mix of housing stock and varied day and night-time activities is a huge draw to the area which can be praised as a contributory factor towards Waitrose deciding to build a flagship store close by with a walk-way access across the canal allowing the residents of Shot Tower Close & The Leadworks convenient access.
The canal offers lots of things to lots of people whether you enjoy a coffee in one of the bars or cafes that sit on the banks or, if you enjoy running or cycling, there are routes into North Wales and into the heart of Cheshire.
Chester itself is a vibrant place to work, live and enjoy. There is such a varied choice of recreational, educational, leisure and professional aspects the City has to offer, The Leadworks is perfectly placed to enjoy the City whether you live there as a tenant, owner-occupier or holiday home-owner.
