Why you’ll like it:

Brunswick Town was the brainchild of acclaimed 19th Century architect Charles Busby, and he undoubtedly would have been impressed with how the area has evolved since then. The roads that were once stables and service houses have been transformed in recent decades, and are now a wonderful mix of contemporary and unique homes.

You would be forgiven for not knowing this pretty garden apartment is here, as it is tucked away behind a wall with a secure gate, and from here you walk down some stone steps into a tranquil courtyard garden. This is a good size for such a central apartment, and has raised beds for planting, as well as space for social gatherings. An outdoor store room houses the washing machine, and has extra space for your garden tools and furniture, plus it is very secure as hidden from view from the street.

You enter centrally where you have an extension to your left which is almost fully glazed and is currently being used as a sizable workshop, but could just as easily be a second reception/ dining room or sunroom. Steps lead you down into the main living room which has soaring ceilings, parquet flooring; all lit by a large skylight, and there’s ample space for comfortable seating, as well as a dining table and chairs. A decorative white brick fireplace could be opened for fires in the cooler months, but also creates a focal point to the room, and has use as a mantle.

Unusually, this goes right through to the hallway, so you can store your cleaning/house equipment in there too. The main bathroom is next on the left, and this has a white bathroom suite, natural stone tiling, and a shower above the bath.

Bedroom two is at the end of the hallway, and is just a shade smaller than the master, but still a good double, and also has built in wardrobe space. With two good size bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus the fantastic central location; this apartment would be perfect for professional sharers.
