Property Description

Key features

Full description

This charming semi-detached family home is located in the traditional and sought after village of South Nutfield. As you drive into the village you feel a real sense of community, as you are surrounded by green fields and horses grazing around you, local schools and a stereotypical corner store.

Approaching the house, you pull into the driveway through the double timber gates and are immediately impressed by the off road parking. As you walk through the front door you are greeted by a spacious hallway, to your right you have a handy cloakroom and to your left you walk through into the open plan living room/ dining room. This room is well presented and decorated with modern neutral colours throughout and with a large window one side and the patio doors leading to the garden on the other, the room floods with light and feels pleasantly spacious. The stylish and newly fitted kitchen with solid wood worktops and modern cupboards with fitted appliances is the prefect space to cook up a feast. Being open plan, it naturally becomes a very social space.

As you retire upstairs for the evening there are three good sized bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes and a modern family bathroom with a white three-piece suite, shower above the bath and classy sand tiles throughout. Last year the owners where also granted planning permission for a two storey extension on the side on the house.

In the summer months throw open the patio doors from the dining room in to the garden and really let the outside in. The Indian sandstone patio is the best place to enjoy a glass of bubbles with family and friends while the barbecue is cooking the dinner and the children are running around the lawn.

South Nutfield has plenty to offer for a small village. You have a train station that can take you into the bright lights of London in under an hour, a sweet village school and short stroll away is a local corner shop selling those everyday necessities.

"The country air!! The location here is second to none with green fields surrounding you with stunning countryside walks to go on at the weekend. This lovely quiet village has an excellent community and a cute village primary school nearby. I would highly recommend Nutfield Priory Hotel and Spa to spend some well earned R&R time in the glamorous spa which is only a short drive up the road. "

"Having lived here for the last 7 years this really has been a perfect family home for us. By converting the garage into a utility room this made a huge difference and made our lives so much easier, especially with children as after they have finished playing outside I can hide the dirty washing in the utility room and shut the door.
We did however need some form of storage for our push bikes so we decided to keep part of the garage. We hope the new owners are as happy here as we have been."
