This beautiful stylish home was built approximately back in the 1930’s and comes with an abundance of charm and character. The property was originally built for prison officers but over the years has become a private residential home and with the prison no longer in use. All the rooms are very spacious and the location is very beautiful.

Tucked away nicely outside the centre of Newport with easy access to all the coast roads where you can head off to any beach of your choice and enjoy the picturesque Jurassic coast line on the Isle of Wight. The property has its own driveway right outside and with schools close by, this is an ideal family home. For everyday shopping needs it is a 5 minute trip in the car to all the large supermarkets and if you enjoy country walks with the dog it is right on the edge of the forest.

The property is in wonderful order and a bit of a one off with its individual style and peaceful location safe for all the family. Call us quickly to book your chance to come and have a look around for yourself.

What the Owner says:

Around 30 years ago or so, we were hunting for a family house for ourselves so we could bring up the family in a very safe and peaceful location. When we stumbled upon this home, it ticked the boxes for location and once we walked around, we were surprised by the size. We went for it straight away and have had a fabulous family life here for all these years. If it was not for elderly relatives needing our support now, we would never even think about moving as it is such a peaceful spot to live. A couple of years ago we upgraded to a insulated flat roof and last December we had a brand new boiler installed. We do hope whoever comes here next will enjoy this home as much as we have for many years to come. We wish the new owners all our best.
