Description - Constructed in the mid 1980s Tanamera occupies an enviable location in Shaldon of Horse Lane, only a short stroll from the bustling village centre and waterfront. Being located on the side of a hill above the village affords the property fantastic sea views over Lyme Bay from many of the rooms, and also over the beach and cliffs of Teignmouth to the side. The property has been recently extended and modernised to create a stylish modern home that would suit use as a main residence or low maintenance second home. Planning has been granted to extend further to create a fourth bedroom if required (planning ref: 09/00581/FUL). The large, recently fitted, modern kitchen with expansive range of oak fronted units over and under the Corian work surface leading to a breakfast bar, is open to the lounge/dining room creating a great family space and hub of this home. There are bi-fold doors from the kitchen leading to a terrace, also accessed from the sitting room, ideal for alfresco dining or entertaining and admiring the sea views over the surrounding area and Lyme Bay. The sitting room is of a generous size with patio door to the terrace and also benefits from the beautiful views. The study is to the rear of the sitting room as well as a useful store room. Opposite the kitchen is the utility room with further storage, sink, and space for washing and drying machines, a door leads to the rear garden.
Stairs lead to the half landing with double bedroom and WC. A patio door leads to a sun terrace, with planning granted (ref: D9/00581/FUL) to create a 4th double bedroom if required.
