Why you’ll like it:

Alexandra Court is a sizable development, located in between Hove Park and Hangleton, and it has a smart exterior of red brick, hung tiles and cream render. There is wheelchair access throughout and lifts to take you to the upper floors. There are often events held in the communal lounge including fish and chip evenings, and daily coffee mornings; as well as being a place for general socialising between the residents and staff.

This flat is on the first floor and while it is simple in design, it is also very accessible, with spacious rooms, and 24 alarm cords fitted in each. The living room is carpeted with creamy textured paper on the walls, and a large picture window overlooking the quiet cul-de-sac to the grand Windmill at the end. There is room for a sofa as well as a small dining table and chairs, and the kitchen is conveniently located to the left through glazed double doors. This has cream units with a wooden trim forming a U shape at both base and eye level, and the electric hob and oven have been integrated. There’s space below the counter for a fridge and a freezer, and the sink has been thoughtfully placed below the window so you can drink in the views to pass the time as you wash up.

Returning to the entrance hall, the shower room is first on the right, and this is a good size with a tall corner shower, raised up on a carpeted step, and there’s a well lit hand basin with a mirror, and a vanity unit below for your toiletries.

Bedroom two is next door, and is a good double, with the same decor and outlook as the living room. The master is at the end of the hall, past a large airing cupboard which also houses the water heater, and this is a very large double with a plethora of built in storage to include wardrobes, side tables and a chest of drawers.

This is a bright, spacious and well presented apartment, and is perfect for moving straight into, but here is still opportunity to modernise to add value if you wish, or simply to put your own stamp on it too.

Bear in mind:

There is a communal laundry, and the heating is currently night storage, but these could be replaced fairly easily with sleek, modern electric heaters of need be.
