We adore Highbury Hill which is in the thick of everything in N5. Moments from the wonderful cafe culture of Upper Street and Highbury Barn; both replete with independent interior design shops, delis, bars and restaurants. It really is a superb part of the capital to call home.
The Owners Say - Our road is beautiful, with stunning houses and little traffic. We've really benefited from the amazing location too, with Arsenal station (Piccadilly Line) at the end of the road, Drayton Park (with trains into Moorgate in ten minutes) around the corner, and Highbury & Islington on the Overground and Victoria Lines is just the other side of the Fields. Highbury has some great independent shops, cafes and bars of course, but Clissold Park and Stoke Newington are also close by when you fancy a change.
The property's best feature is probably the way it lets in the light. The sun moves from the main bedroom in the morning, then round to the living room in the afternoon and early evening. It's a lovely place to live.

Brickworks Loves - La Fromagerie: despite its title, wonderful European cheese is not the only offering from this fabulous local deli. Cold meats, wine, pastries and bread fill this cafe/store with wonderful aromas on a daily basis. Oh, and its available for private hire and tasting events too.
Trullo: with a commitment to simple, seasonally focused, Italian-inspired dishes, this restaurant near Highbury Corner is a joy. No fuss; just expertly cooked food in a relaxed environment.
Highbury Fields and leisure centre: this iconic park is the largest in Islington and is just around the corner. Almost every conceivable activity is catered for during the course of the year, but it is equally great to just relax and enjoy a lazy summer barbecue in the dog free zone.
The Highbury Arts Club: set up by two local residents, the Highbury Arts Club is a coffee house during the day and a restaurant/tapas bar during the evening. With art, live music, comedy and other creative things happening, it is a wonderful community resource.
Godfreys & Co: this family run butchers is just around the corner and is a local institution having been part of the community for over 100 years. Specialising in free-range, additive-free meat, game and poultry their produce and knowledge is first-class.
