There is a good selection of local junior and secondary schools and private education is available at Ranby School and Worksop College. Situated on the River Idle and The Chesterfield canal there are walks which offer access to open countryside.  On the doorstep is Sherwood Forest, National Trust Clumber Park and a variety of other attractions. The historic city of Lincoln is just a short drive away, which offers Lincoln Cathedral, Castle, University, Cinema and numerous shops and boutiques along with many eating establishments.

 

Directions.

From our office in Bawtry, leave the town to the South on the A638 Great North Road and continue for about 5 miles, continuing through the village of Ranskill until reaching the village of Torworth.  Turn left signposted to Lound and follow the road directly to Lound, passing over Mattersey Road.  On arriving in the village of Lound, turn left onto Town Street, and continue along Town Street as it forks right at the bus shelter.  Plumtree House is on the left hand side at the next right hand bend.
