THE PROPERTY This remarkable end of terrace house was built by the present owner and offers all of the benefits of modern houses similar to those in Shilton Park but with the advantages of Glenmore Park with its lower density of development, green spaces and access to local amenities. It is ideally positioned in a cul-de-sac and has a pleasant outlook from both the living room and bedroom. A high specification building includes inviting open plan living room with a wide opening connecting it to a sleek modern kitchen appointed with white gloss floor and wall cabinets with contrasting worksurfaces including a small peninsula breakfast bar and on trend black Metro tiled surrounds. These are complemented by a stainless steel electric oven, hob and cooker hood with further provision for an automatic washing machine and upright fridge freezer. Unusually for house in this area, there is also a downstairs cloakroom.
Upstairs a commodious cupboard houses the gas central heating boiler with this storage shelves to one side. The double bedroom benefits from a fitted wardrobe and is adjacent to the shower room. This is appointed with a white suite with half all ceramic tiling to all the walls apart from the double shower cubicle that is completely tiled.
Outside the property has a sunny, well enclosed garden extending to approximately 27 feet with an area of hard standing that may be used as a patio. There is also an outside tap and gate leading to an allocated single parking space.

SITUATION Carterton is West Oxfordshire's second town and takes its name from William Carter, a director of Homesteads Limited who developed the town in the late nineteenth century. The town became famous for market gardening notably for black grapes and tomatoes- the latter being sold in London's Covent Garden Market. The first airfield was built in the mid-thirties and the RAF took over Brize Norton after the departure of the United States Air Force in 1965. The town centre has seen a great deal of development in recent years and now offers a number of large supermarkets, banks and independent retailers and barbers/hairdressers as well as a lending library and numerous eateries. There are five primary schools and several sports clubs positioned around the town as well as a large medical centre that has a dentist and dispensing chemist.
The sought-after Glenmore Park development to the north of the town is well placed for the A40 linking the dreaming spires of Oxford to the attractions of Cheltenham. It is within walking distance of the community centre and local shops and a modern leisure centre with swimming pool and gymnasium. The town is well served by a modern bus fleet featuring wifi. Main line station at Charlbury (c.13 miles Journey time to Paddington approximately 78 minutes).
