This beautiful detached family home is situated in the traditional village of South Nutfield. Braes Mead is a quiet cul-de-sac road and highly sought after, as you drive down the road you will see other family homes lined either side.
Pulling onto the driveway you will notice the well-kept front garden, with beautiful flowers planted in full bloom and filled hanging baskets, this really is, in my opinion, the prettiest house along this road. The paved driveway, with plenty of parking for several cars, takes you to the single garage attached to the house.
As you walk in through the front door you will be greeted by an exceptionally spacious hallway. Neutral colours on the walls and carpets throughout are ready for the new owners to put their own stamp on. To your left you walk into the spacious living room where natural light oozes through the feature bay window. At the end of the room a grand archway opens into the dining area with a stunning floor to ceiling glass conservatory looking out onto the landscaped and well-manicured gardens.
The L shaped kitchen is complete with fitted appliances and has access to the dining room and a patio door that takes you into the rear garden.
The garden is truly spectacular! There is a large patio area and bright green lawn which then leads you up to the stone steps surrounded with flower beds covered in a beautiful sea of colours. Another lawn area sits at the back of the garden en-circled with well-trimmed hedges and another patio area to sit a single table and chairs. Adding to the garden is a double shed.
Upstairs you have a three excellent sized bedrooms and a family bathroom.
South Nutfield has plenty to offer for a small village. You have a train station that can take you into the bright lights of London in under an hour, a sweet village school and only a short stroll away is the famous Holborns grocery store selling those everyday necessities.
"One of the more attractive houses in the area, Braes Mead is known to all locals in the village as the stepping stone for young families wanting that bit more space but not wanting to leave South Nutfield. Within a short walk to the school and local park, this could be the perfect home for any growing family.
One thing I really love about South Nutfield is the little Holborns shop on Mid Street, check it out after your viewing!"
"37 years we have been here Having extended to the front, back and side we have changed lots over the years. We wanted to make the lounge larger, dining room deeper, kitchen wider and move the garage around. In the time we have been here, we have loved every second of it, our children have now bought in the village because once youre here you wont want to leave! Unfortunately the time has come where we need a bungalow, so hope the next owners spend the next 30 years here enjoying it as much as we have!"
