PROPERTY DESCRIPTION Positioned off a country lane in the popular village of West Alvington, lies this superb example of a detached family home. Enjoying open views across the surrounding countryside, "Stockwell" was originally built in the 1970's however over the last few years has undergone extension and improvement by the current owners to now provide a modern, contemporary style home which enjoys all the benefits you would expect from a popular Devon village.

You approach the property via a brick paved driveway, which provides parking for several vehicles and is enclosed by stone walling. From the driveway there is access to the front entrance door, the integral triple garage and the side garden. When you enter the property you are immediately greeted by the modern decoration and the engineered French Oak flooring which continues throughout the downstairs accommodation. The entrance hallway is filled with an abundance of light and offers doors leading to the downstairs cloakroom, lounge and kitchen/diner. The downstairs cloakroom benefits from an upgraded suite and is positioned closest to the front door. The entrance to the lounge can be found on your right and is a beautiful light room finished with engineered French Oak flooring with sunken uplighters, "Scan" wood-burning stove and sliding doors to the decking area. The lounge has also been hard wired for cinema sound.
The kitchen/diner is positioned to the rear of the property and benefits from both French doors and sliding patio doors out onto the garden. The kitchen has been fitted with white high gloss units with solid worktops and a range of soft close drawers and cupboards.
Within the kitchen there is a range of fitted appliances to include a Bosch dishwasher, Hotpoint gas double oven, Bosch five ring gas hob with Neff remote controlled extractor hood over, Baumatic fridge/freezer and separate wine cooler. The kitchen/diner is finished with French Oak flooring, plinth lighting and upright column radiators. From the kitchen, there is access to the utility area and additional downstairs cloakroom, which is also accessed from the rear door from the garden. From this area, you access the triple garage which is fully insulated with inspection pit, three phase electrics, remote controlled electric roller door and plumbing for a washing machine and utility sink.

From the entrance hallway, the bespoke designed staircase rises to the first floor accommodation and is finished with stainless glass balustrade with inset feature lighting. The landing area is light and airy and has doors leading off to the bedrooms and storage cupboard. The master bedroom is a generous size and has a glass balcony which enjoys views over the surrounding countryside.
Within the bedroom there is access to the en-suite bathroom, which has a Jacuzzi bath with mood lighting and shower over, bespoke fitted shower screen, wash hand basin, low level WC and body dryer. The second bedroom mirrors the master bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms are of a generous size and also benefit from their own individual en-suite shower rooms.

Outside, the lawned garden is positioned mainly to the side of the property and is enclosed by stone walling and fencing. The decked sun terrace sweeps around the side of the property to the rear and enjoys the sun for most of the day. Located in the corner of the garden is a vegetable area with an aluminium framed greenhouse. There is a further enclosed patio area located behind the utility room which can provide a secure enclosure for a small household pet. There is wiring from the house to the garden which could be used for a summer house or the potential to extend the accommodation further.
