At Wharfedale View you can stay as active as you like and have the reassurance of support provided by our 24 hour care and support team.

Each spacious, bright apartment is flexibly designed to meet your needs today and in the future. Both one and two bedroomed apartments have generous living space, a modern kitchen (with fitted oven and hob) and a bathroom with a level access shower. Apartments with a fully adjustable kitchen for wheelchair users are also on offer. All apartments can have wifi, satellite and Freeview TV.

Extra care living gives you a chance to join in with social events and activities. Wharfedale View has a relaxing ground floor lounge opening onto an enclosed landscaped garden, a restaurant with dining room and a spa area with hairdressing and beauty therapy. You can entertain family and friends in your own home or dine in the restaurant. A well-equipped visitorís suite can be booked for a small charge by family and friends wanting to stay longer than a day.

Experienced care staff will be able to respond 24 hours a day via our call system installed in each apartment. The care provider will be available to respond to emergencies but to also provide planned additional support such as assistance to get up on a morning, assist with personal care/washing/bathing, and administration of medicine.

You will also need to pay:

Care cost for on-scheme experienced care staff available to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day via a call system of £45.12 per week.

Housing Leeds support cost of £21.00 per week.

Service charge of £27.00 per week.

Future maintenance fund payment of £23.00 per week.

A Fund where Shared Owners pay a regular contribution towards any large cost communal/capital improvements such as lifts, boilers, assisted bathroom equipment, communal furniture and floor coverings.

You are also responsible for council tax and utility bills for your apartment.

If you are on a low income or in receipt of a benefit you may be entitled to extra help to pay the staff cost and service charge and we can assist you to make a claim, which includes filling in the forms and providing any supporting information.

Depending on individual needs, you will be able to purchase additional care and support as identified in your care plan from a care provider.
