Follow the fell road for about six miles to eventually reach the King George IV pub. Turn right signposted to Boot. From the north follow the A595 coastal road from Whitehaven in a southerly direction, signposted to Barrow. Turn off at Gosforth and follow the road for six miles to Eskdale.
