. This purpose built detached thirty-two bedroom family run hotel nestles in the heart of the seaside resort of Shanklin. The hotel offers en-suite rooms, hospitality trays, televisions and direct dial telephones. Ten of the guest rooms offer balconies to the front, some with sea views and two offer balconies to the side overlooking the hotel grounds. Meals are served in the dining room currently laid to serve 62 diners but with a capacity for at least 70 to 80 and licensed for 100, with sliding doors to the front patio and hotel gardens. Entrance: Approached via steps rising between the lawned front gardens of the hotel, the Auckland Hotel is accessed through double glazed double doors to the central reception area.

Reception Area: The reception desk is located to the left rear corner of the entrance hall with access for staff only to the private office to the rear. Glazed doors and a wall of windows afford access and sight to the dining area and the entrance hall is open plan to the lounge and bar.

Office: Concealed beyond the reception desk is the hotel office housing the telephone logging system and other hotel administration systems.

WC's: Beyond the reception desk stairs rise to the first floor where separate Ladies and Gents toilets can be found each housing a WC, wash hand basin and electric hand drier.

Lounge/Bar: Open plan and 'L' shaped the lounge and bar offers a variety of soft seating and tables. There are five radiators and double glazed sliding doors to the front patio and gardens.
