Full description

Situated down this quiet and peaceful residential road is this stunning Victorian semi-detached house. Homes along here are in demand as buyers moving from London feel the similarity in the roads and property styles are uncanny. An area, perfect for young professionals and families, this house with high ceilings and generously sized windows, is in a street of similar elegant houses built in an era reliant on natural light.

As you enter the house, you walk through into the hallway with the stairwell in front of you. To your left you are greeted by a spacious living room with a beautiful feature bay window, flooding the room with light. This really is the perfect room to relax in front of the TV and unwind in after a busy day at work.

To your right off the hallway you walk through into another reception room, of which the current owners use as a dining room. This room then leads you into the separate kitchen with a sleek wooden worktop and cream cupboards. A back door allows you access to your own private rear garden. Making your way outside, the garden comprises of a patio and lawn area with side access taking you back round to the front of the house.

This easy to maintain garden is ideal for enjoying a glass of bubbles on summer’s afternoon without having to worry about the gardening.

Upstairs you have three bedrooms and a good size main family bathroom making this very versatile for families.

A very convenient location to be within walking distance to Redhill’s fantastic train station with excellent transport in and out of London, Gatwick and Brighton. Just imagine walking out your front door, knowing you could be enjoying the bright lights of London in 45 minutes or less! Redhill town centre has all your essential shopping needs, however if you do run out of milk one morning, don’t worry, the local corner shop is always in stock and only a few seconds walk away.

Just a short stroll to the station you can be up to the glitz and glamour of the west end in no time at all enjoying its array of shows, top restaurants or just for a quick cocktail. Safe in the knowledge you can return to your quiet and friendly community once London has tired you out. Its has without question a very London esk feel to it with a lovely mix of both professionals and families moving in...

We bought this house as a young couple, using the additional rooms as a spare guest bedroom and a study. As our family has grown, the extra bedrooms have been ideal. The garden attracts the sun in the afternoon and is a good venue for summer entertaining. Gordon Road is a quiet one way street with friendly neighbours. We have found it to be a great location, being walking distance to the town, park, train station and a number of local shops. We hope to stay in the local area and will miss our first home.
