Househill House - Lot 1

Nairn is a vibrant Victorian town and a popular holiday destination, with miles of sandy beaches stretching from the harbour eastwards. Of historical note, Nairn was charted as a Royal Burgh in 1189. It lies very close to the site of the Battle of Auldearn (1645) when the Duke of Montrose inflicted a crushing defeat on the Covenanter army. In 1746, the Duke of Cumberlands army was billeted around Nairn before the battle of Culloden. Nairns sandy beaches were used extensively for training exercises for the Normandy landings of World War 2.
Househill house is set in attractive garden grounds which includes a formal garden which is interspersed with a variety of colourful plants and shrub borders. Beyond that is a large field/paddock bordering the woodland.
