Tenure: Freehold

If you crave charm, character, space and want to be positioned in the heart of Dorking town centre, then this period end of terrace house, arranged over four floors commands your attention! The instant you walk in the door you will feel inclined to kick off your shoes and relax in the lounge. When it's time to rustle up something to eat, the kitchen/dining area is just the place to cook up a storm with stylish, sleek units and plenty of work top space and a sociable breakfast bar to sit and chat over. If you prefer somewhere more formal you can seat everyone around the table in the garden room extension. The current owner uses this area as an additional sitting room but it could be a play area for the kids as it opens up onto the garden. Upstairs the bedrooms are double and the bathroom is a good size, so plenty of room to have guests stay over or for a growing family. The basement offers potential for anyone looking to transform into a further bedroom or study if you work from home. It's just used for storage by the current owner. Outside, the pretty walled back garden has been transformed into a neat, contemporary and easy to maintain space with a beautifully designed patio. Location wise this road is ideal for the town and commuting is a breeze from here thanks to all three stations being within walking distance. Families will also be able to access the schools easily too. Whilst there is no official parking, there are plenty of council car parks close by so a permit would easily solve that problem.

What the Owner says:

I moved here 4 years ago as I completely fell in love with the location. The house itself needed quite a lot of work back then but I could see the potential it offered.
Since living here, I completely transformed the kitchen into what is now quite a vibrant stylish room but the best thing I did was the garden room extension. Not only did it open the kitchen into an open plan space with more light but it enabled me to also put the breakfast bar in making it more of a sociable. I also added a new combination boiler and multi fuel stove which is brilliant when the winter kicks in.

In the summer months I love sitting out in the rear garden and enjoying the sunshine as it is a real sun trap.
