Full description

This fantastic, stylish and ever-so-practical family home has five bedrooms, two reception spaces and a south west facing garden. Extremely light and well-proportioned rooms are enhanced by a recent loft conversion and beautiful downstairs refurbishment.

Located perfectly on the end of a terrace and right opposite Downhills Park, the spot is quiet and safe. A wonderfully spacious family home for anyone looking to embed their roots in the warm community of up-coming south Tottenham.

Brickworks Says - There is so much we love about this spacious family home, but to start with we think the separation and re-configuring of the downstairs space is brilliant: the cosy front room with wood burner and built-in shelving is the perfect tonic for grown-ups, and the large, open plan kitchen/diner which opens out (bi-folding doors) onto a super-sunny garden.

Said garden needs a mention too; it is well-manicured by someone very green fingered but is also large enough to house a shed (and currently a huge trampoline). Being end-of-terrace, youre hardly overlooked, and the trees of nearby Downhills Park add a welcome, green vista.

The Owners Say - We have lived in Tottenham for 8 years, and absolutely love the friendly community feeling. There is a visible shift in the area, with lots of young families making their homes here which is encouraging new cafes and farmers markets. Tottenham, however, retains its identity as a vibrant and diverse part of the city.

When we bought this house, we wanted to make a home in which we could imagine living for many years and raising our children. We made the decision to leave London for the coast, but feel we really did create a perfect place for a growing family. There is a warm and welcoming character, which we felt from the moment we first stepped inside.

We love our light rooms and sunny garden and have been very happy living here. We will be sad to say goodbye to Wilmot Road, but we know someone else will enjoy making this their home.

Points To Consider - The house was within the admission area for Belmont Infant and Primary schools this year. A much coveted and loved, local school with an 'outstanding' Ofsted report.

Found within the borough of Haringey, the flat falls within Council Tax Band D ( £1481 in 2016/7).

The fifth bedroom isnt as large as the others, and although a double bed wouldnt work, a single would be fine. Totally perfect for a home office or babys room.

The tube isnt on your doorstep, though it is only a fifteen-minute walk to Turnpike Lane (Piccadilly Line). Seven Sisters is a little further but gives you both the overground and Victoria Line, which is now 24 hours at the weekend. Plus the W4 stops literally outside the house taking you to Turnpike Lane or Tottenham and Seven Sisters.

The Cycle Superhighway (CS1) has been extended up Tottenham High Road to Seven Sisters Tube. This significant improvement provides safer and quicker routes for cyclists heading into central London.
