The house:

The original Victorian bay window lets lots of light to flood into the living area, giving it a bright and airy feel. It’s a tremendous size, with plenty of space for sofas and table and chairs. The kitchen is just through from the living area and we particularly love how the light pours in from the bifold doors, which open out onto the garden. The units are a beautiful sage green colour, which complements the solid wooden worktops. 

On the first floor you’ve got two double bedrooms, a generously proportioned single bedroom and two bathrooms. New light coloured carpets have been laid and the sky coloured walls give the bedrooms a refreshing, contemporary feel. The master bedroom is at the front of the house, with light flowing in from that gorgeous Victorian bay window. There’s some handy fitted wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom with shower. 

The main bathroom has a modern suite with a shower bath. The grey grout works perfectly with the metro tiles and Victorian style tile edging on the walls. 

In the loft you’ll find two further double bedrooms and another bathroom with shower. Just like the first floor. Sometimes loft conversions can feel a tad cramped. This one is fantastic. There’s good headlight and the space has been utilised brilliantly. The conversion feels as if it has always been there. 

As we’ve said before, the house has undergone a complete refurbishment and that includes newly installed double glazed windows. There’s Gas Central heating too, so you’re well prepared for when it gets chilly in the winter. 


The bifold doors in the kitchen open up to a wonderful emerald green garden. There’s a newly laid patio area which is a perfect space to relax with a craft beer or glass of wine (from Forest Wines on Forest Road). 

Where is it?: 

You’re a short stroll away from the beautiful Lloyd Park and not far from the different eateries around Bell Corner. The recently opened Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre is just a few hundred yards away too. You’re also well positioned regarding schools. The ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated Hillyfield Primary School is just around the corner and the ‘Good’ rated Walthamstow Academy is a walk away or drivable in a few minutes.
