Cheltenham, Malvern, Gloucester and Worcester all offer an excellent choice.

The Old Barn is a 15th Century thatched oak-framed threshing barn with longhouse-style addition known as 'The Piggery'.

The barn was originally constructed in 1452 and was converted to residential use in 2002. A comprehensive programme of improvements were undertaken during 2012 - 2013.

The property consists of two distinctive sections comprising the Threshing Barn which accommodates the kitchen, dining and living areas over a single level and The Piggery which comprises the bedroom and bathroom accommodation.

The threshing barn is of cruck frame construction under a thatched roof with timbers dated to have been felled in the autumn of 1451. This impressive open plan room has a vaulted ceiling and engineered oak flooring with zonal under floor heating. A contemporary kitchen heads the room with a commanding island unit and a range of appliances including induction hob, twin ovens and warming drawer.

The Piggery features two floors of accommodation under pitched slate roofs. This practical layout is accessed via a main hallway leading to the utility, shower room, master bedroom with en suite shower room, two further bedrooms and study. The staircase leads to a first floor bedroom suite. There are good storage facilities throughout The Piggery with in-built wardrobes in the master and guest bedrooms.

The Old Barn is accessed via a pair of timber gates leading to a large gravel driveway of Cotswold stone leading to a turning circle and attached garage. The gardens surround the property and comprise attractive lawned areas with well-stocked borders.

There are far reaching views across to the Malvern Hills, Bredon Hill and Broadway Tower.
