Turnpike Cottage is a Grade II Victorian Toll House erected in 1874 by Callington Turnpike Trust. The property is of part rendered solid stone walls beneath pitched roof with natural slate cladding. The structure adjoins the parapet walls of the adjoining stone arched road bridge over the River Lyhner.
