The Owners Say - We have lived in our house at the bottom of Seaford Road for over ten years and have many happy memories of being here. Our end of the street is super-quiet with little traffic due to a no-through road for cars and yet we are just five minutes from the tube and mainline train station.
We have lovely neighbours and good friends here; a real community street. There is a monthly playstreet for the children and many other events organised by the local residents association.
We have extended the house over the years as our family has grown and have particularly loved the extension downstairs. Opening the bi-folding doors and feeling the sun and air stream into the house in the summer, and eating our dinner together under the glass roof as the rain comes down in the winter is loved by us all and particularly the children! We feel very sad to leave our beautiful home yet confident that whoever lives here after us will love living here as much as we have.
Points To Consider - Recent plantings en route to the tube and by the walkway, which leads up to West Green Road, have truly added to the look and feel of the area. So too the art project to re-design the West Green Road shop facades. It is all beginning to look super!
Transport links are excellent with the Victoria Line just five minutes away and now running 24 hrs at the weekend (Friday and Saturday), plus the mainline station to boot.
Locally loved primary school Earlsmead has a good Ofsted report and is comfortably within the cut off distance 2016. So too Harris Academy on Phillip Lane which is another improving local, primary school with a recent Good Ofsted.
