Cannon Place rises up from the sea between two of the grandest hotels on the seafront. Whilst much of the architecture here is industrial, several terraces of Victorian houses remain, surrounding the lesser known Clarence and Russell Squares. This house has a corner plot, and its exterior has recently been repainted so it is fresh and smart in cream with glossy black railings surrounding the ground floor and then down the stone steps to the apartment’s own entrance.


The front door opens to a wide hallway with white walls and wooden floors which flow into the living room at the far end. First on the right however, is the master bedroom. This is double aspect, and while it is lower ground floor, the light can still filter in and the exterior walls, painted brilliant white, reflect this.
