Full description

Tenure: Freehold

Backing onto open farmland and with a garden large enough for a small pony. Situated just moments away from the A27 this little cottage is very unassuming from the outside and has fantastic potential to extend (subject to the necessary permissions).

The layout is very traditional and works particularly well. The kitchen gives you the perfect place to cook up a culinary delight while entertaining guests in the dining room which enjoys views over the rear garden and farmland beyond. In the summer months you can take advantage of the large garden room which opens out onto the garden, or if you simply want a place to kick off your boots and dry off after roaming the countryside, there is an abundance of wildlife in this surprisingly peaceful location.

The decor is light and bright throughout and the accommodation feels very spacious. On the first floor you have two double bedrooms and a larger than average family bathroom.

The garden is a fantastic size, divided into two with a formal garden and a small paddock and stable at the rear which has power and lighting. The new purchaser may wish to convert this space into a fantastic home office.

The cul-de-sac is a private road, so you should have little to no passing traffic.

What the Owner says:

I have lived in this house for over 20 years and it has been a great home. The location is ideal if you have a dog like I do, being able to walk for hours through the surrounding fields.

I had even kept my pony here from time to time for many years at the end half of the garden. I had at one point considered converting the loft into another bedroom & en suite (subject to the necessary permissions), so had a full staircase installed but have never needed the additional space but it has made getting into the loft with boxes a doddle.

I am in a fortunate position where I am able to vacate as soon as a buyer requires.
