Directions.
From Honiton take the A35 Axminster Road and continue for approximately 6 miles, turning right just past the Little Chef at Shute which is signposted Shute and Colyton. Continue for about 1 mile past the castellated entrance gates of Shute Barton and turn right after approximately 300 yards at Boars Croft Cross signposted Umborne. Follow this lane for about half a mile and Ferndale will be found just after the railway bridge on the left hand side.
