Directions

From London take the M40 to Junction 6, signposted Princes Risborough. Turn right at the end of the slip road onto the B4009 signposted Princes Risborough, Chinnor, Thame. Carry straight on and through the villages of Aston Rowant, Kingston Blount and Crowell before entering Chinnor. At the mini-roundabout turn right to Bledlow Ridge, High Wycombe. Continue up the hill and at the crest, prepare to turn sharp left to Bledlow Ridge. Continue along Chinnor Hill, passing a cream old fashioned telephone box on the left hand side. Jacob's Ladder is the second turning on the left, into the woodland. The entrance is shielded by an electrically operated 5 bar gate.
From Henley-on-Thames take the A4130 Oxford road up The Fairmile continuing to the village of Nettlebed. Take the right turn before the village onto the B481 signposted to Watlington. Continue on this road, passing through Park Corner and Cookley Green and take the right turn into Watlington village. Pass through Watlington and continue under the M40 towards Chinnor. In Chinnor village, at the mini-roundabout, take the right turn signposted to Bledlow Ridge. Continue as above.
