After moving away from the mainland around ten years ago, I wanted a large house for me and all the family and struggled to find something that suited us. We wanted lots of space, large grounds and gardens and we also wanted it close to schools but in a semi-rural spot. When we saw this home, it ticked every box. Although it needed a great deal of work we could see the potential and jumped at it straight away. Since we have been here we have done so much to our home and retained all the charm and character and now it is in tip top condition, we will be sorry to leave. With kids getting older it is just too big for us now but we must say, we have really enjoyed living here in this lovely location. We wish the new owners many happy years here.
